Quality priorities differ by product, standard and application. Hongji begins by reviewing the product and order information, then arranges the applicable checks for the confirmed standards, specifications, material grades, surface finish, testing, packaging and documentation. This keeps the delivered products aligned with the agreed records.
Four Stages of Quality Control
Material & Order Review
Review the product name, product standard, dimensional standard, size, wall thickness, material grade, quantity, and agreed surface, packaging and documentation requirements.
In-Process Inspection
Check dimensions, wall thickness, appearance, surface, ends and, where applicable, weld or internal surface condition. Any inconsistency with the confirmed information is reviewed promptly.
Final Inspection
Confirm final dimensions, appearance, surface and applicable testing against the product standard and order requirements. Inspection scope, sampling and acceptance criteria depend on the confirmed information.
Packaging & Pre-Shipment Verification
Before shipment, verify the products, quantities, cleanliness, end protection, packaging, labels and agreed shipping documents.
Inspection & Testing Note
The inspection scope depends on the product standard, product type and order requirements. Test items, acceptance conditions, sampling, implementation method and required records should be confirmed at RFQ and order stages rather than presented as one fixed test package for every product.
Dimensions, Surface & Cleanliness
Dimensions & Wall Thickness
Depending on the product type, checks may cover OD, ID, length, ends, main and branch sizes, and wall thickness. Both ends or both main and branch dimensions are checked for reducing products.
Appearance & Surface
Appearance, weld, internal and external surfaces, and end condition are checked as applicable. AP, BA, MP or EP requirements follow the confirmed order.
Surface Roughness
For clean and high-purity tubing or related fittings, specify the acceptance value, measurement location and method at RFQ and order stages.
Cleaning & End Protection
Cleaning to an oil- and grease-free condition, end capping and clean packaging are selected according to the product and order. Surface and end condition are confirmed before packaging to reduce contamination risk before delivery.
